You will also need to butterfly these tails. Here are instructions on how to butterfly

Ingredients

  • 4 - 8 to 9 oz Lobster Tails
  • 1/2 lb butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Butterfly your lobster tails
  3. In a small bowl add the soften butter, parsley, garlic, lemon juice and tobasco sauce, blend well
  4. Spread butter mixture over tails
  5. Place tails in a deep baking pan
  6. Add 1 to 2 cups of water (You don't want any of the water touch the tail meat.)
  7. Cover the pan with aluminum foil, making a tent
  8. Place pan in the center rack of your oven
  9. Bake covered for about 10-12 minutes

Remember your tails will continue cooking after you have removed them. So lift up the foil and look at your tails. What you should see is a small slim line down the center of the tail meat, that will still be a little translucent. This is perfect as they will finish cooking by the time they hit the plate.
