Baked Orange Roughy Italian

Easy Orange Roughy Recipe

Even the most pickest fish eater will like this baked orange roughy italian recipe.



If you are looking for a very easy to prepare Orange roughy recipe then this would have to be it. The garlic and Italian bread crumbs enhance the flavor of the orange roughy without overpowering it.

Counting the prep time and cooking time you should have this dish ready in about 30 minutes.

You can also substitute the orange roughy fish with any other mild whitefish fillet.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. orange roughy fillets
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Rinse fillets under cold water and pat dry
  2. Pre-heat oven to 400°
  3. In a shallow saucepan, melt butter, add garlic and saute(a couple of minutes)
  4. Add this garlic mixture to the seasoned bread crumbs, mix well
  5. Dredge the roughy fillets in the breadcrumb mixture dip
  6. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily
