Best Way To Cook Pollock?
Well I baked Pollock the other day and it turned out rubbery like i cooked it to long but it still wasn't done. So my question is how do i cook Pollock correctly either by baking or frying it?
You can cook it both ways. My preferred way is frying it. Most Pollock fillets are on the thin side so they don't take long to cook.
One way that I fry them is just coating them in a seasoned cornmeal and frying 350 degree oil for about 3 or 4 minutes, depending on the thickness.
Use the 10 minute per inch of thickness for baking. You may have to stack fillets on top of each other to get to this thickness. Bake at 350 degrees.
Sometimes frozen fish will cook up rubbery.
