Flavor of Lobster?

I am not a fan of the fishy taste or smell of most "seafood" but I do enjoy eating halibut, I will eat it battered (w/ tartar sauce) or non-battered with a little butter, salt and pepper.
Now to my questions......I have heard so many people talk about how much they love eating lobster, As best you can... could you please describe the taste of lobster.
and am I better to go out a try it from a restaurant or try and cook it myself at home?
Hi Scott
I'm not sure if this will help you much but I give it a try.
Lobster will be tender but not flaky, the taste will compare to a good quality Shrimp, but not as distinctive or bold as Shrimp and much sweeter.
I suggest you eat your first lobster at a good restaurant.
Thanks for visiting the cookingfishmonger.
