Flavored Butter Recipes


Flavored butters, just go with fish and seafood so well. You can make these up ahead time, by wrapping them in plastic and/or foil and refrigerate or freeze them till you are ready to use them. The garlic basil butter is my favorite, so I make up multiple batches of this and have them ready when I cooking any fish or seafood.

It's very important that you throughly blend the ingredients, that's why I use my food processor for make flavored butters.

Garlic Basil Butter

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 small clove garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Lemon Tarragon Butter

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 2 teaspoons tarragon
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
