Freezing Battered Fish

I was wondering can I Batter halibut in a beer batter then freeze it before cooking it, and pull it out and cook it later?

Hi Mark
Home freezers won't freeze fast enough to hold the batter on the halibut. A breading will hold and you could double breaded it before freezing.
