Grandpa's Sweet Fried Prawns

When I first came up with this recipe, we were camping and I used fresh caught crawfish, but it is just as good with prawns.

1 lb Peeled and deveined prawns
1 cup of white wine like a dry Reisling
1/4 cup of fresh chopped basil
4 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1/4 cup of Kahlua
2-3 cups cooked Jasmin rice
Sea salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Marinate the prawns with the wine, basil, and garlic for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Using a cast iron skillet on med high heat, add approx 1 table spoon of olive oil, remove prawns from marinade and toss into skillet. Cook for about 15 seconds and then add the kahula.
Continue to cook the prawns until their built in thermometer register's done.
Remove from heat and pour over Jasmin rice and enjoy.

My family member likes prawns foods. May be prawn is their favorite food. So I always try to make exceptional prawn foods. This recipe will be another item for my prawn lover family.
