Marinated Grilled Shrimp Recipe
Plan ahead for this marinated grilled shrimp recipe as you will need to let it marinade at least one hour
before grilling.
Use at least a large shrimp or even better use a colossal shrimp,
they will look very impressive on the plate, if you are serving guest. You can also add more hot sauce
for some extra heat and flavor.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup fresh basil (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a shallow dish (except shrimp)
- Mix well
- Add shrimp and toss to coat them well
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours
- Stir occasionally to keep the marinaed on the shrimp
- Remove shrimp from marinade ( reserve the marinade for basting)
- Put the shrimp on skewers (if using wood skewers make to soak in water first so they won't burn)
- Grill over medium-high heat for about 3 to 4 minutes per side
- Basting frequently
