Looking for a Bay or Sea Scallop Recipe?

If you find a sea scallop recipe and you cannot find them, a bay scallop will work just as well. The only suggestion I would have is you might have to reduce the cooking time to adjust to the smaller size bay scallop.

Scallops are like any seafood they hate to be over cooked, so stay close to them and watch them when cooking. They should lose that translucent look and become opaque and firm.

The distinctive sweet flavor of scallops make them a favorite in many recipes or they can be simply broiled, grilled or pan seared. If you are new to seafood you might want to read my Scallop Facts page.
