Soft Shells After Baking Snow Crab Legs

Every time I bake Snow Crab legs, the shell seems to be rubbery, so it's hard to crack the shell with anything because it bends, how do I cook it so the shell is hard and crispy?
Hi Jennifer
This is common with snow crab legs. Their is nothing you can do to make the shell harder.
When cracking them, try to break the legs at the joints and pull the meat out.
You can also pre-cut your crab legs, either cross ways or the full length of the leg. Do this when they are still frozen.
Thanks for visiting the cookingfishmonger.
