Broiled Yellowfin Tuna Steak Recipe

Sometimes you just want something easy and good tasting. This yellowfin tuna steak recipe is just about as easy as it can get.

You can also grill these, the only thing that I would suggest is that you marinade the tuna steaks in 3/4 cup of olive oil for about 30 minutes first. The oil that soaks up in the steaks is very minimal, but the oil will give you tender and juicy tuna steaks
Ingredients:
  • 4 Tuna Steaks (about 1 1/2 inches thick)
  • Olive Oil
  • Cracked Black Pepper (enough to cover all the steaks)
  • Sea salt
Directions:
  • Preheat broiler
  • Rinse Tuna Steaks under cold water and pat dry
  • Brush both sides with olive oil
  • Sprinkle cracked pepper on both sides
  • Sprinkle Sea salt on both sides
  • Place on broiler pan
  • Broil 2 to 3 minutes on each side for a medium-rare tuna
  • If you like your tuna a little more done add a few minutes to each side.
  • Note; If you like your Tuna on the rare side, you need to buy very fresh and sushi-grade tuna.
